The Winemaker’s Trio is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel. This new-world style of wine blends the blackberry, mint and pepper of Syrah, the raspberry, red berry and anise of Zinfandel and the cassis, dark cherry and powerful tannins of Cabernet for w wine that’s simultaneously powerful, yet restrained, and fruity, yet structured, with an integrated balance of tannins and acidity. The inviting finish of vanilla, cherry, chocolate and refined tannins begs for another sip.
Bold enough to pair up with Texas barbecue, this wine works with rich, meaty stews and casseroles as well as less weighty dishes, like eggplant Parmigiano.
